Wuthering Waves 2.0 drip marketing reveals Carlotta, a character from Rinascita

Carlotta has been revealed as one of the upcoming resonators in the Wuthering Waves 2.0 update. Hailing from Rinascita, the next stop in the Rover's journey to uncover their past, she is among the five characters confirmed so far for the 2.X series.

Carlotta will likely become playable in either the Wuthering Waves 2.0 or 2.1 update, but it is expected that Rovers will be able to meet her during the main quest in Rinascita. Here’s everything we know about her and the upcoming updates.

Carlotta revealed as an upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.0 character

A few days ago, Kuro Games showcased a few items from Rinascita on social media, hinting at upcoming resonators. Now, the developers have officially unveiled all the characters from this new region in Wuthering Waves.

Carlotta is one of five characters confirmed to become playable in the upcoming updates, starting with the Wuthering Waves 2.0 patch. The list of items that teased the new characters from Rinascita showcased a musket, which was a reference to her, as she can also be seen holding the same weapon in her promotional art.

In her official promotional post on X, the following excerpt is mentioned:

"Let's prove our value to each other."

Carlotta appears to be a member of the noble family of Rinascita, as her dress reflects a high social standing. While her musket may play a role in her gameplay, the developer has not yet confirmed her in-game weapon type.

Besides her, four additional characters: Brant, Roccia, Zani, Carlotta, and Phoebe have been confirmed for Wuthering Waves 2.0 and subsequent updates.

Version 2.0 will likely go live on Jan 2, 2025, unless the ongoing version 1.4 faces any issues that might delay the update.
