The highly anticipated gacha title, Wuthering Waves, is set to release globally on May 22, 2024, and it promises to bring in exhilarating gameplay backed by rewarding content. Among the highlights are also the launch event, which will give out free pulls and a 4-star Resonator. Players should also know that raising union levels yields additional goodies that will help them progress further in the game.

Wuthering Waves launch event to give out free 4-star character

Wuthering Waves' official release is finally here, after two successful closed beta tests, which have offered fans a glimpse at everything the title has in store. Besides, Kuro Games has scheduled the Gift of Thawing Frost launch event to commemorate the occasion.

To complete the event, players have to log in to the game for a week to obtain the following rewards on each consecutive day:

• Day 1: 1x Lustrous Tide
• Day 2: 1x Lustrous Tide
• Day 3: 1x Lustrous Tide
• Day 4: 1x Lustrous Tide
• Day 5: 4-star Resonator Sanhua
• Day 6: 2x Radiant Tide
• Day 7: 2x Radiant Tide

It appears that fans will be receiving a free copy of Sanhua after logging in on the fifth day. She is a 4-star Resonator from the Glacio element, whose weapon of choice is a sword. Nevertheless, she is a welcome addition to any account, considering every unit is capable of tackling the in-game activities.

That said, players are highly advised to raise their Union Levels quickly after the game goes live to snag these rewards:

• Union Level 5: 5x Lustrous Tide and 200 Astrite
• Union Level 15: 5x Lustrous Tide and 400 Astrite
• Union Level 25: 15 Lustrous Tide and 2 Crystallium (Stamina)
• Union Level 35: 15 Lustrous Tide and Crystallium (Stamina)
• Union Level 45: 5-star Weapon Selector and 1000 Astrite

The Lustrous Tides can be used in the Novice Convene, which guarantees a drop of the respective 5-star Resonator. Make sure to save the Astrite for the event banners. Also, Jiyan is featured in the first Event Convene.
