While Wuthering Waves is already available for the PC, Android, and iOS platforms, there is a distinct absence of the game on any console, which is something its direct competitor, Genshin Impact, possesses. As per a recent leak, Kuro Games may be working on a PlayStation release, which should please fans.
A breakdown of this leak can be found below, detailing its availability.

PlayStation build icons for Wuthering Waves spotted online
As mentioned in the above X post, Wuthering Waves is expected to be officially released for the PlayStation consoles relatively soon. This information comes courtesy of WuWaLand and details two distinct package icons:

- T_PlatformPs52.png
Additional details surrounding this particular leak are rather scarce at the moment, and its legitimacy is also quite questionable. Regardless, if proven true, this should be quite exciting news as it will allow existing as well as new players a third way to access the game and play without having to bother with the general clunkiness of optimizing PC settings.
All that remains is to wait, at least until developer Kuro Games releases an official statement regarding the matter.
Will Wuthering Waves be available on the PlayStation 4?
While one of the two discovered icons does mention a “Ps40” in its title, a PlayStation 4 release seems highly unlikely at this point. The PS4 is a last-generation console and lacks the necessary horsepower to drive WuWa at sufficiently high framerates (and resolutions).
Furthermore, the lack of a Solid State Drive in the stock system may also be a major issue regarding game performance.
As such, a PlayStation 5 only release is more likely.
