On May 21, 2023, popular streamers Rachell "Valkyrae," Thomas "Sykkuno," and Imane "Pokimane" teamed up to play Fortnite. Before starting to play the battle royale, the content creators chatted for a while, during which Sykkuno disclosed that he wouldn't be attending this year's EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival). He explained that the reason behind his choice was the high cost of tickets for the music festival.

When Valkyrae heard Sykkuno's reason, she called him out and exclaimed:

"(Valkyrae says Sykkuno mentioned that he was going to be late today) Yeah, and I'm not the last one here. So, happy about that. You know, guys, I'm skipping out on EDC to play Fortnite with you guys. That's how much you matter."

Upon hearing this, Valkyrae stated that she was developing a sprain from rolling her eyes so much at him:

"We just started, and I'm already, like, rolling my eyes so hard, I'm getting a sprain."
