Zenless Zone Zero is working on auto battle feature, according to leaks
According to Leifa, HoYoverse added an auto battle function in the version 1.4 closed beta, which let players farm resources in Zenless Zone Zero without active participation in the battle. The feature has seemingly received more updates, suggesting that HoYoverse is currently working on it.
As of writing, there's no official confirmation as to when the automated combat will appear in the game. Besides, the developers have yet to announce the quality of life addition. If they do decide to launch it with the next update, they might showcase the auto battle system during the version 1.5 livestream.
According to the beta tester’s experience, the upcoming combat feature will be simple to operate. However, players will likely be thrilled to use the auto battle to farm resources regardless of its difficulty of use. Spending daily stamina on different challenges and domains is a time-consuming endeavor, and an automated combat system would certainly help make the process less tedious.
With HoYoverse being silent on this matter, the inner workings of the auto battle are unclear. Unlike the turn-based skirmish of Honkai Star Rail, combat in Zenless Zone Zero demands manual control over characters. Hence, Proxies will be eager to witness how well the developers integrate this feature into the title's gameplay, provided the leaks are true.
