Zenless Zone Zero leak shows Qingyi gameplay animations

The video above is the leaked gameplay footage of Qingyi. It was derived from the ongoing closed beta test and shared by Dimbreath on Telegram. The unit was previously speculated to be an upcoming character in Zenless Zone Zero, following her on-screen appearance in the Chapter 2 Interlude Intermission quest.

Based on the animations alone, Qingyi appears to be an Electro unit capable of unleashing multiple instances of elemental damage on an opponent. She is an S-Rank character and plays like one, with her quick slashes and agility. Such an agile playstyle is typical of the units from the Attack specialization, and hopefully, she will inherit the Fighting style.

So far, information regarding Qingyi’s kit is scarce, but her skill in the preview has no distinct animation. Hence, there is a possibility that the ability empowers her normal attacks. This is pure speculation, so players will have to wait until the official confirmation to find out.

As for her Ultimate, she seems to dash around the opponent, unleashing multiple slashes before landing a final hit from the top. Her Ult has the potential to deal AoE damage.

Qingyi was the first Agent to be revealed in the latest drip marketing campaign in Zenless Zone Zero. Hence, she is likely to be featured in the first banner of version 1.1. Speaking of which, this update is expected to be launched on August 15, 2024, following the current version's 21-day banner schedule.
