Nintendo celebrates 27 years of Mega Man with an exclusive Sale at the Nintendo eShop
Mega Man has been a celebrated creation of Nintendo.

After making his spectacular return to Super Smash Bros. for both Wii U and 3DS, Mega Man is also deemed to be in Nintendo's next wave of amiibo for 2015 (for more details on the matter click here) he has been around for quite a long time, 27 years in fact. To celebrate this milestone, Capcom and Nintendo have teamed up to put forth a special Blue Bomber sale across their Console offerings on Wii U and 3DS, which also includes the early release of a new game to the service.

The Sale commences at December 22nd

Through midnight eastern time on December 22nd , three Mega Man games will be on sale on each of the Wii U and 3DS at 50% off the regular price. These games include:

  • Mega Man II for Game Boy (3DS) – $1.49

In addition to this sale, there has been a new addition to the Wii U Virtual Console in the form of Mega Man Zero for Game Boy Advance. Being completely new to the eShop, this one is not on sale at all, but can be gotten for $7.99 anyways. It is good to see the Blue Bomber get the promotion he deserves, and don’t forget to pick up Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS to try him out in newer games as well.
