All the speculations ended when Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg via Twitter has debunked recent rumor that Halo 5: Guardians is coming to PC. It was started from the game's description: "Online multiplayer and some features (sold separately), limited timed exclusive, may be available later on other platforms.
Greenberg confirmed on Twitter that Halo 5: Guardians is not coming to the PC. He said: “We are fixing that language, it was simply meant to imply the beta is for a limited time. Sorry for any confusion.”
You can check out the screenshot of it below. It went viral on the internet and Halo franchise fans started predicting that Microsoft will announce Halo 5: Guardians for PC at a special event in January 21, 2015.
The Halo 5: Guardians beta description should have just said that it was available for a limited time. To say it’s a timed exclusive that could be coming to other platforms made it confusing to everyone.
