Pyro Traveler teased in the Genshin Impact 5.1 livestream announcement
HoYoverse teased Pyro Traveler in the Chinese Genshin Impact 5.1 livestream announcement on the game's official Weibo channel. However, the post was replaced with a new artwork that shows the Hydro MC, suggesting that the developers may have deleted the original post to avoid potential spoilers.
It is no secret that the Traveler's clothing glows depending on the element they are resonating with. Luckily, @GenshinUpdate saved the original artwork and shared it on X where one can see Pyro's color (red) on Lumine's clothes.
During the Natlan Archon Quest, the Traveler was unable to obtain the power of Pyro despite touching the Statue of The Seven. However, based on the deleted livestream announcement, it is likely that the main character might finally obtain new powers in the upcoming Archon Quest.
It is also worth adding that the Pyro Traveler was only teased in the Chinese announcement. The English and Japanese livestream banners do not feature the character.
Meanwhile, the Korean livestream also shows Hydro Traveler. This makes it difficult to predict whether or not the Traveler will gain the power of Pyro in Genshin Impact 5.1's Archon Quest.
