The official boxart for EA’s and DICE’s highly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront as now been revealed. The official PlayStation Magazine UK Twitter account revealed the new NTSC (North American) boxart for the game via a tweet yesterday. The art contains what looks like a remodelled version of the famous AT-AT walker heading towards a rebel who is standing atop his T-47 Snowspeeder surrounded by a snowy wasteland. The picture also features a few TIE fighters and a few more walkers in the backdrop. Overall, it is a pretty interesting cover.
Besides the cover art, a few screen shots and a release date for the game were also revealed via source code on the official Battlefront website (thanks to a NeoGAF user). According to the source code, the game is expected to release on November 17th this year.
The Star Wars franchise has been in the news a lot recently, especially since the release of the official movie teaser trailer this past week. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be premiering at box offices this December. And the of the official teaser Battlefront trailer seems to have increased the hype surrounding the franchise. Hopefully the game lives up to the expectations of the Star Wars and DICE fans.
Star Wars Battlefront will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this year. In the meantime, you can check out the boxart below:
