Official Genshin Impact 5.2 banners schedule

HoYoverse finally confirmed the banners for the Genshin Impact 5.2 update in the recent livestream. The upcoming version will feature two new playable characters: Chasca and Ororon. Interestingly, the former is a 5-star unit and the latter is a 4-star. Furthermore, version 5.2 will rerun three 5-star characters, including two of the most popular names in the game.

Genshin Impact 5.2 banner schedule

Phase I - November 20, 2024

The first phase of version 5.2 will begin on November 20, 2024, and will feature the following 5-star characters and weapons:

• Chasca (5-star Anemo, Bow)
• Lyney (5-star Pyro, Bow)
• Ororon (4-star Electro, Bow)
• Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage (5-star Bow)
• The First Great Magic (5-star Bow)

The livestream confirmed that Chacsa is the only new 5-star unit in this update and will be available in the first half of the update alongside Lyney, who is set to get his second rerun banner. Besides the 5-star characters, Ororon will debut in this half. He is a new 4-star Electro unit that uses a Bow.

Additionally, their signature weapons — Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage and The First Great Magic — will be featured on the weapon banner. The first phase banners will only be available until December 10, 2024.

Phase II - December 10, 2024

The second phase of the Genshin Impact 5.2 update is likely to start on December 10, 2024. According to the official announcements in the livestream, Travelers can look forward to the following character banners:

• Neuvillete (5-star Hydro, Catalyst)
• Zhongli (5-star Geo, Polearm)
• Tome of the Eternal Flow (5-star Catalyst)
• Vortex Vanquisher (5-star Polearm)

As mentioned, the second half of the version 5.2 update will feature two of the most popular characters in the game: Neuvillete and Zhongli. The former is arguably the best main DPS unit and this is his second rerun. Travelers looking for a good damage dealer can go for him.

Meanwhile, this will be Zhongli's fifth rerun, the most by any character in the game. The Geo Archon is an amazing support character with a nearly unbreakable shield and can fit into many teams.

Assuming the game follows the regular update schedule, the phase two banners will be available until December 31, 2024.
