Arena Breakout PC is in its Early Access stage and players are quite hyped about the game. Since it's a brand-new game, players are eager to try it out and complete various challenges for a sense of accomplishment. This title also features the same basic features and mechanics as most extraction shooter games. Players can purchase most of the in-game items with the currency, Koen.

While the game has been out only for a couple of days, the developer team released a system where players can purchase the in-game currency “Koen” with real-life money. This has caught the entire community off-guard as the developers previously said they will not be releasing any pay-to-win features that directly benefit players' gameplay.

Among the FPS community, the YouTuber and live streamer, Jordanr (@jordanr) raised their voice and commented on the newly released feature:

“officially a pay-to-win disaster of a game.”

Jordanr's comment on this matter expressed their dissatisfaction about the implementation of this feature and how it can leave an unpleasant experience for most players.

TactiGamer (@tactigray), another content creator, showed some concern regarding players being able to purchase the highest quality armor right off the bat. They also attached a video to their X post showcasing how many bullets it takes to penetrate the armor and helmets of the highest quality.

Following @tactigray’s post, a Warzone shout caster, @dougdagnabbit, claimed that the ability to purchase Koen with real-life money enables most players just to spend money and buy the best items the game offers. It destroys the balance a game must have for all players to have a fair chance.

How does the Bond purchasing system affect Arena Breakout Infinite?

The Bond purchasing system is a new feature that Arena Breakout's developer team launched recently. It allows players to purchase Bonds instantly with their real-life money and convert them to “Coins” to buy the in-game currency “Koen.” Koen is usually needed to purchase various items in the title such as ammo, weapons, armor, helmet, and more.

While this new feature doesn’t seem to change anything in the game, it will likely change Arena Breakout Infinite’s in-game economy over time. Moreover, it allows players to laze around and just purchase the best gear they can get right off the bat.

Players with below-average gears will always be killed by others with good gear. This will be frustrating for many. After losing all of their gear sets, players will be forced to use real-life money to purchase the best gear they can get their hands on.
