Open Beta announced for The Crew a week before the games launch

Ubisoft has recently announced that they will be releasing an open beta version for their upcoming title, The Crew, a week before the games official launch. The game is an open world online racer title set across the United States. The beta will be available from November 25th-27th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. So now is the best time for players to check out what the game has to offer before its scheduled release on December 2nd.

The open-beta should hardly be considered a ‘beta’ since the games launch is just a week away but it still offers players a chance to test the game out before they can buy it. The game has already gone through a lot of closed-door testing with over 1,000,000 players participating in its alpha test this past year. Ubisoft wants to make sure that they game can handle the load on its day one release and this ‘beta’ will help them get an idea of what’s to come and whether the game can hold up. It’s no surprise that they have put in the extra effort to ensure a smooth launch, especially since so many recent game titles have had a rocky start due to not being able to handle the day one load.

This beta will include the games PVP feature as well as the Street and Dirt classes. Players will also be able to explore the entire United State but they will only be allowed to complete challenges in two of the five regions.

The Crew is set to launch on December 2nd. Here is a recent trailer for the game released by Ubisoft:
