Dropped, SkittleCakez, and Knoqd released from OpTic Gaming’s ALGS roster
OpTic Gaming has displayed consistent performance and recorded several highlight moments in the past. However, the trio had a downfall in recent years and failed to qualify for the LAN event by missing the selection placement by two positions. The team secured 14th position in the playoffs while only the first 12 teams are given a slot for the LAN matches.
One of the players from the roasted, Dropped, created a post on X addressing this news. He stated that he was no longer a part of OG and the organization seems to have decided to exit the ALGS scene. He further went on to thank all his fans for their support and expressed pleasure to have been a part of a great professional Apex Legends team.
This means that all three players from the roster - Dropped, SkittleCakez, and Knoqd, are now free agents and can enter other teams. However, this is a difficult route as the trio had been a part of OG for a long time and would now have to explore different options.

Dropped’s X post was similarly flooded with fan replies as everyone extended their heartfelt apologies and wished him the best for his future. It came as a shock to the community as the team had successfully coveted the second position in the ALGS Championship 2023.
That said, it cannot be confirmed if OpTic Gaming will disembark from Apex Legends’ esports scene since OG is one of the 12 ALGS-partnered teams.
