Doctor Doom is the epitome of Mystic champions. He has no equal in terms of control over Power and debuffs. His special skill, “Aura of Haazareth” removes buffs from enemies and increases Power of Doom which can be chained with Special Attack.

His heavy attack chain immobilizes the enemies and his special 1 reduces the enemies’ power. Doctor Doom’s special 3 is a game changer as it enables him to steal the opponent’s Power while inflicting a lot of damage. His high armor and resistance also make him a tank on defense and can thus sustain long battles.

Scarlet Witch (Classic) is still a dominant character in the game, providing both, random negative effects on enemies and critical damage. Her signature ability lets her apply random effects like Power Steal, Poison, Weakness, and Fury on her attacks, thus making her damage output high and her opponent’s ability low.

For every critical hit, she has a chance to apply multiple debuffs, which pile on a number of negative effects that can really mess with enemies. Her randomness can be a bit hard to deal with at times but when utilized properly Scarlet Witch is a monster in terms of damage and debuffs.

3) Kushala

Kushala is considered a high-damage burst champion with good crowd control. Her Spirit of Vengeance ability is an incineration debuff that builds up rather fast and inflicts a decent amount of energy damage. What makes Kushala overpowered is her ability to steal life from enemies that are debuffed and heal herself in the process, which makes her a good pick in long fights.

Her interactions with other champions increase her damage output even more, and her Special 3 is a combination of fire attacks that will wipe out any enemy that relies on buffs. Kushala’s sustain, in addition to her ability to deal damage, puts her in the upper echelon of the game.

Doctor Voodoo is all about control – in Power usage and in applying debuffs. His signature ability enables him to apply all sorts of statuses, depending on the combo meter, including Poison, Power Drain, and Fate Seal.

Voodoo can control the tide of the battle because he can turn buffs into Poison, thus taking the opponent’s health while managing their Power. His heavy attack and Special 2 make him switch between an attacking and a defensive position, making him flexible.
