The upcoming collab is a surprising one (Image via Blizzard Entertainment)

Ahead of Overwatch 2 Season 14, Blizzard Entertainment has announced an official collaboration with Nickelodeon's Avatar The Last Airbender series. At the end of the trailer for the upcoming season, players are greeted with a silhouette, sporting the signature "arrow" mark that fans have seen on the forehead of series protagonist Aang. This is unsurprising since we have seen other media collabs before like Transformers and Cowboy Bebop.

As of this writing, while not much is known about this event, as it has only just been teased, we have an idea of who may be one of the first characters to get skins fitting the theme. This article goes over all the known details.

Note: Guesses as to which heroes will be receiving skins are purely speculative, and to be taken with a grain of salt.

Overwatch 2 Avatar collab seemingly teases Aang skin for Zenyatta

The teaser showcases the silhouette of a hero who is quite clearly Zenyatta, the Support hero in the game. This suggests he will get a skin based on Aang, the hero of the series who is the titular last surviving Airbender. As with other collabs, fans can expect more hero skins based on popular heroes from the series.

That said, Blizzard has not yet released any details on that front, so fans must have to wait until Season 14 arrives on December 10, 2024. All of these skins are expected to be featured in the in-game shop and are purchasable using the Overwatch Coins premium currency.

That said, while we do not know the heroes that will be receiving cosmetic items, we can guess as to which Avatar heroes will make an appearance. Iconic names like Sokka, Katara, Toph, Zuko, and, perhaps, even General Iroh, are safe bets to most certainly be featured. That said, players will need to wait and see if their predictions come true.
