Blizzard Entertainment has released the first trailer for Overwatch 2 Season 13, showcasing the highlights of the upcoming Halloween-themed update. This includes a brand-new Mythic skin for a fan-favorite DPS, an all-new game mode, and the arrival of the much-awaited My Hero Academia collaboration ahead of its launch.

Overwatch 2 Season 13 brings a new theme, Mythic, and game modes to the table

Take a look at what's coming soon to Blizzard's popular 5v5 hero shooter with Overwatch 2 Season 13:

• Spellbinder Widowmaker Mythic skin: The sharp Talon sniper Widowmaker gets a Mythic for the first time with "Spellbinder," donning her in an attractive witch outfit.
• Junkenstein's Laboratory game mode: Arriving as part of the Halloween Terror 2024 event, this game mode allows buffing picked heroes with various Talent modifiers that change how their abilities play out. For eg. The Doppelganger card allows Moira to launch three Biotic Orbs instead of one.
• Overwatch 2 x My Hero Academia: A new collab is on the horizon, bringing the beloved Shonen Jump characters such as All Might, Izuku, Himoko, and more to Overwatch 2.

• Map updates: More maps will see tweaks in Season 13, including Circuit Royal, Dorado, Numbani, and Havanna.
• Shop updates: New cosmetics are coming to the shop for Illari, Sombra, DVA, and more heroes. The Mythic Shop will get new Aspects, which are essentially variants for existing Mythic skins; the Gilded Aspect grants a shiny, gold makeover for Mythic heroes.
• All-new Premium Battle Pass: While no specifics were shared on this front, fans can expect a fresh BP with 80 tiers to grind through.

Overwatch 2 Season 13 arrives on October 15, 2024, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
