Ahead of the Overwatch 2 x Transformers collaboration’s arrival, Blizzard has released a comic. While the developers create and launch various Overwatch 2-themed comics from time to time, the latest iteration is quite unique. The most recent entry teases one of the characters, whose skin will be featured in the upcoming Overwatch 2 x Transformers collab.

Ramattra Megatron skin gets teased by Overwatch 2 x Transformers comic

Recently, Blizzard released a Transformers-themed Overwatch 2 comic. In the comic, Ramattra can be seen attacking a city and losing the fight by a landslide. While he is frustrated, the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron offers him a deal which ends up in him obtaining the power of the aforementioned faction. At the end, we can also see Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Arcee, discussing whether they should grant their power to the Overwatch 2 heroes.

As teased in the comic, one of the Overwatch 2 x Transformers skins will be for Ramattra. The skin will be inspired by Megatron and will be quite interesting to see in action. Apart from the Ramattra Megatron skin, the other three heroes for the Autobot cosmetics are still a mystery. Based on the comic, Ramattra’s skin will likely feature dark gray and purple hues, similar to Megatron’s color scheme.

With only four more days left for the collaboration event, the developers will likely tease upcoming characters and their skins. Moreover, Blizzard may release a teaser video for the collaboration featuring some of the Transformers skins, similar to the Overwatch 2 x Porsche collab.

When will the Overwatch 2 Transformers collab release?

Announced by Blizzard, the Overwatch 2 Transformers collab will arrive along with the Summer Games event on July 9, 2024. Since the weekly shop will reset along with the release of the event, players will be able to purchase various skins.

The Overwatch 2 Season 11 mid-season patch is also scheduled to go live on July 9, 2024. Therefore, players will be able to enjoy the new balance changes along with the Transformers collab skins.
