All skins in Overwatch 2 x World of Warcraft collaboration

The Overwatch 2 x World of Warcraft collaboration will feature four exclusive character skins that will essentially combine both the game worlds and honor their legacy.

1) Sylvanas Windrunner Widowmaker

The Sniper hero in Overwatch 2, Widowmaker, gets to honor ‘The Dark Lady,’ Sylvanas Windrunner of World of Warcraft. The similar design styles of both the characters combine extremely well together. The outcome is this ritualistic night-themed skin with edgy-looking armor and weapon, keeping the characteristic color scheme of Widowmaker.

2) Lich King Reinhardt

Overwatch’s Tank giant, Reinhardt, again gets the spotlight. He gets to pay homage to the ‘Dark Lord of the Dead,’ The Lich King from World of Warcraft. The developers decided to keep the ‘ice’ concept from The Lich King’s lore and designed Reinhardt similar to ‘The Awakened Lich King.’ The character's skin radiates different shades of blue and is completely ice-themed, with even his melee getting The Lich King’s weapon.

3) Thrall Zenyatta

In the collab, Overwatch 2 Healer Zenyatta’s skin takes concepts from World of Warcraft’s Earthbinder, Thrall. Her character's face and hair get the classic Thrall makeover while her outfit remains classy in shades of pink and green. The design is a perfect blend between the supportive nature of Zenyatta and the crushing character of Thrall.

4) Diamond Magni Torbjorn

Torbjorn and Magni Bronzebeard go hand-in-hand. With their character models being so similar, and a Magni Torbjorn skin already existing, the developers decided to bring an upgrade. Essentially a diamond version of Magni Torbjorn, this skin fits the theme of the event perfectly, and thus gets a special feature in the collab.

The Overwatch 2 x World of Warcraft collaboration event is just a few days away and the community is already excited. These collaboration events are always special to the veterans of the game and also attract new players. Considering these are two giants in their respective genres, this event is destined to succeed.
