Blizzard has officially announced its 30th hero in the popular multiplayer shooter Overwatch. Baptiste is a hero who comes from Haiti and according to the lore, he was an ex-Talon agent (Reaper's evil organization) who decided to turn his life around to do good.
Funnily enough, Blizzard has not released any other information, such as his abilities. Baptiste is not even live on PTR. When the last 2 heroes Ashe and Wrecking Ball were released, they had an animation release as well as a PTR release with updates on their abilities.
But so far all we got was this tweet and some speculations from different YouTubers. What we do know is that Baptiste will be a hybrid DPS and Support character. His character art holds what looks like a health pack in his left hand and a gun in his right hand. From Blizzard's official Overwatch account tweet, they say "one bandage... or one bullet at a time".

The last healer released, Moira, is also a hybrid DPS and support, being able to deal burst damage as well as perform AOE heals. One of the original support releases, Zenyatta is also a great DPS and healer. We don't know in which slot exactly Baptiste will be placed, but we can assume that it will be a Healer.
Blizzard has slacked off a little compared to what they have done in the past. There has not been a developer update from YouTube or the Blizzard forums for over 3 months now. Not releasing the full details of Baptiste is another issue. Hopefully, Blizzard does not distance itself from the Overwatch Community.
Baptiste has no official release date yet. From the looks of it, it seems like he can carry/create health packs to give his allies and it would be interesting to see if he could take health packs hacked by Sombra.
