What is the Pathfinder Prestige skin in Apex Legends?
The Pathfinder Prestige skin in Apex Legends will reportedly be a Mythic rarity cosmetic. Numerous Legends in the game, such as Bloodhound, Bangalore, and Wraith, have already received Prestige skins.
Amid high demand from the community, Respawn Entertainment has apparently been hard at work crafting an attractive Prestige skin for Pathfinder.
The Pathfinder Prestige skin in Apex Legends is not officially confirmed by the developer. However, HYPERMYSTx claims that the cosmetic will go live on October 15, 2024, with the Techno Terror Collection Event.

All variants of the Pathfinder Prestige skin in Apex Legends
The Pathfinder Prestige skin will reportedly feature three upgradable variants:
- Apex Mecha Tier 1
- Apex Mecha Tier 2
- Apex Mecha Tier 3
As stated above, these variants can be unlocked by simply upgrading the skin. However, to progress through the different tiers, players have to deal a certain threshold of damage in the game. As you hit the required threshold for each variant, you will automatically be upgraded to the next tier.
Here's a detailed list of the damage supposedly required to unlock each variant in the game:
- Apex Mecha Tier 1 (Base variant, automatically unlocked)
- Apex Mecha Tier 2 (Deal 30,000 units of damage using Pathfinder)
- Apex Mecha Tier 3 (Deal 100,000 units of damage using Pathfinder)
Note: To keep your damage progress tracked, you must have the Prestige skin equipped while playing the game. Using any other cosmetics will not add to your on-going Prestige tally for the Apex Mecha.
