Malebolge has 15 floors, including a boss battle in the opening segment. If you return to the Desert of Doors, you will notice a second door that can take you straight back to the deepest point you have reached in the Abyss. This helpful door can be found in other places and help you get back to your progress in Malebolge.

Players can frequently return to the Desert of Doors to use the Velvet Room. This is to let gamers make use of all of their available Personas effectively. You will be limited by your gear throughout the Malebolge section of Desert of Doors. Thankfully, after reaching the end, you can visit Paulownia Mall to upgrade your gear and get kitted out properly.

In order to beat the game quickly, you may essentially speedrun through all the Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis Malebolge floors because there are no items that need to be picked up. Before walking down to the Door of Time, stop at the Dorm's 2F Lobby to fill up on Mad Bull as this will help you save time if you leave the new Abyss.

Overall, you must focus on survival. If any boss from a region causes you to get stuck, do not hesitate to head back and shuffle up your party to better suit the floor requirements. Upon reaching the end, you will be led into a cutscene. Following this, the second level of Cocytus will open up.

The Stoic Snake from the above table is the only tough red glowing Shadow on the list. While perusing the table, it should be noted that the affinities that haven't been mentioned for each Shadow entail that the particular Shadow takes normal damage from those. A fun little tip for players who want to avoid a fight in Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis Malebolge, is to run to a locked treasure chest after catching a Shadow's attention.

Upon unlocking a chest, these Shadows always despawn thanks to the animation, making chests a useful way to avoid fights and reward players with loot. Additionally, Shadows will now guard Doors similar to those found in the Desert of Doors, with a one-way teleporter available before the fight. This is unlike the base game where the Gatekeeper Shadows waited on important floors instead of doors.
