Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gets new anime styled trailer

New animed styled trailer released for the game

The Pokemon Company’s next title Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is all set to release this Friday, November 21. To celebrate the upcoming release, the Pokemon Company has launched an anime style trailer for the two games. The trailer looks very similar to the Pokemon anime series and is exclusive to the Japanese Pokemon Company Youtube page with a Japanese narration. The developers have done this before during the launch of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, when it released anime themed trailers for both the games.

Its pretty cool of Pokemon to release an anime styled trailer, given how popular the series and manga is. And even though the anime and game are very different from each other, fans of the series are still going to appreciate the extra effort here.

The trailer is 4 minutes long and stars a female and male Pokemon Trainers who are preparing to set out for their journey. The duo face a lot of trouble at the beginning of their journey, very reminiscent of what players of the series had faced once. They are attacked by bug pokemon and have to take down gym trainers. The trailer also features the three new Mega Evolutions of each starter which is the main draw for the game. It then goes on to show the other new Mega Evolutions present in the game. The trailer looks vibrant and definitely helps to build up the anticipation for the upcoming release.
