Pokémon are known to fly, so getting a flying Pokémon near an airport does make sense but not when the plane is in the air! A trainer posted this picture after they found a Squirtle on the wing of an airplane.

The funny thing about this is that Squirtle is a water type Pokémon and cannot fly, so being able to find one of the starter Pokémon from the original series is great but certainly, this isn’t what anyone would have expected to see outside their window.

The user might not have been able to catch the Pokémon, given the altitude of the plane and maybe they should wait a bit more and bag a Pidgeot or Fearow.
