Poll shows the most popular Natlan characters in Genshin Impact

A recent poll on an internal app of WeChat called Teyvat Helper revealed the most popular Natlan characters in Genshin Impact among global and Chinese fans. Unsurprisingly, the same character occupies the number one spot on both lists, but there's a stark difference in the rest of the entries. The difference between the sample sizes of both polls is also quite big so it shouldn't be surprising.

Most popular Genshin Impact characters from Natlan (Global)

The sample size for the global poll is only 3931, which is pretty small. In any case, here is the list of the most popular Natlan characters in Genshin Impact based on the votes from the global fans:

1. Mavuika - 51.6%
2. Il Capitano - 46.4%
3. Kinich - 35.6%
4. Xilonen - 28.8%
5. Citlali - 23.4%
6. Ororon - 18.8%
7. Mualani - 15.4%
8. Chasca - 13.8%
9. Iansan - 10.5%
10. Ajaw - 9.1%
11. Kachina - 4.7%

Mavuika is the most popular and the only Natlan character with more than 50% votes. This shouldn't be surprising since many believe she is the rumored Pyro Archon. Interestingly, Il Capitano secured the second spot and he isn't too far behind Mavuika. Kinich is the third most popular Natlan character, but his partner, Ajaw, is near the bottom of the list.

Lastly, Kachina is the least popular with only 4.7% votes.

The sample size for the popularity poll among Chinese fans is 23,654, nearly six times larger than the global size. Listed below are the 10 most popular Natlan characters voted by the Chinese players:

1. Mavuika - 65%
2. Citlali - 29.2%
3. ll Capitano - 27.8%
4. Kinich - 19.7%
5. Chasca - 19.5%
6. Xilonen - 13.8%
7. Ororon - 11.2%
8. Kachina - 8.9%
9. Mualani - 8.8%
10. Iansan - 4.5%

With 65% of the votes, Mavuika remains the most popular character even among Chinese fans, which is amazing. Surprisingly, however, Citlali is the second most popular character as she managed to get more votes than Il Capitano who is third on the list. Meanwhile, Kinich is the fourth most popular, but his partner Ajaw didn't even make the list.

Iansan received the least number of votes from Chinese fans.
