The PUBG 32.2 update will release on November 6, 2024, and introduce changes like various bug fixes to improve the overall gameplay experience. During this time, the servers will likely go offline for a short duration while the developers go live with the new update. However, the new patch will be available on all supported console devices on November 14, 2024.
This article will highlight all the new changes fans can experience after installing the PUBG 32.2 patch.

The new PUBG 32.2 patch will bring about a wide variety of changes. Here's a quick overview of all the items outlined in the official update blog:

Map Service
For normal matches, in AS and SEA regions, the Erangel and Sanhok maps will remain fixed for four weeks, while Rondo, Miramar and Taego will remain in the rotation. Other maps like Paramo, Vikendi, Karakin and Deston will also be in rotation, as one of each will be available in the map pool.

For KAKAO regions, Erangle, Taego and Sanhok will remain fixed, while Miramar and Rondo will be available alternatively throughout the four weeks. Paramo, Vikendi, Karakin and Deston will be playable once every week in the respective order.
For AMER, EU, RU and consoles, the map Erangle remains fixed. Miramar, Taego, Rondo, and Vikendi will be available for rotation throughout the four weeks. Sanhok, Deston, Paramo and Karakin will arrive once a week.
For ranked matches, the map pool rotation will be available as follows - Erangel (25%), Miramar (25%), Taego (20%), Rondo (20%)c and Vikendi (10%). These map service updates will occur for every seasonal update.
Arcade
A new game mode called Hot Drop will be available to play in the upcoming update. Here is a list of the basic specifications of the arcade mode:
- Starting player count is 64 for PC and 32 for console.
- Third-Person Perspective only.
- Limited areas of Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi or Taego.
- Safe Zones are narrow and close faster to enable more gunfights on the battlefield.
- All players who remain on the plane will drop automatically once it reaches the edge of the playable area.
- No Red Zone, Blizzard Zone or more will be active in this mode.
- Cars, Care Packages, Ships and Trains will not be accessible.
- 4-Man teams only with auto-fill enabled.
Team Deathmatch
- Rondo map has now been renamed to Rin Jiang.
Gameplay
Inflatable Boat
- Uses Oars instead of a Motor to enable silent water travel.
- 500 Health Points.
- It weighs 40.
- Can carry four players.
- Can be steered with a single slot. Other slots can provide more travel power by continuously tapping the forward keybind.
- One player can row it to around 20 km/h, while others can boost this to around 50 km/h maximum.

- Players occupying the first slot cannot use secondary weapons.
- Other slots can use oars when disarmed.
- Can be deployed on water and land. Collision and other interruptions cause the deployment to be canceled.
- When destroyed, players will fall into the water automatically.
- Can be found on all maps except Paramo and Haven.
- Available in Custom matches with the Spawn tab.
- The item was added to training mode.
- Cannot be used in ranked and custom matches (Esports Mode).
Quality of Life
- You can now view your teammate's Inventory when spectating.
- You can now follow your teammate after jumping from the Emergency Pickup plane.
- The environmental conditions under which some items can be used will be displayed in your Inventory.
- A visual indicator is displayed when equipping or hovering over deployable items in the Inventory.
- The usage conditions for deployable items have been adjusted, allowing players to use them in more positions.
- System messages for item unavailability have been made clearer.
- A system message will be displayed if an item becomes unavailable during use.
- Items looted using the F key while equipped with the Tactical Pack will no longer be automatically stored in the Tactical Pack.
- The rules for acquiring and consuming ammo and items have improved for greater consistency.
- Communication features like the Radio Message Wheel and 'Enemy Spotted' ping can now be used in Solo Mode and Training Mode.
- The time interval for recognizing double clicks on the wheel has been adjusted to make the 'Enemy Spotted' ping easier to use.
- (Console) A new key binding for the 'Enemy Spotted' ping is now assigned to the Hold R-stick button in the A/B/Custom types of the Controller Button Presets.
World
- Maps will now feature the 2024 PUBG Global Championship decorations.
- Taego sounds are reduced during Overcast weather.
- Taego’s mysterious objects and decorations were removed.
Clan System
- All goals for PUBG Clan Challenges have been lowered.
- Reduced goals for Clan Member Missions and some mission details were changed.
- Clan Member Activity button can be used from all Clan-related pages.
- Clan Member Activity page is only available for the Clan Master or Manager.
- Gauge Point and Class reset and calculation are now explained with more clarity.
- Certain Clan notifications show up with colors to increase visibility.
- The Clan Tag Plate icons will display the 'PUBG' text instead of the Clan name when viewed in the Clan Inventory.
Crafter Pass
Crafter Pass is back for the community to enjoy with unique rewards that can be acquired from the Black Market 2024.
Workshop
Special Crafting
- Will remain available to PUBG players only till December 9, 2024, for PC and December 17, 2024, for consoles.
- Can only be used with Special Crafting at the Workshop.
Lobby
- New Pick’em Challenge for PGC 2024 is now available and provides details about the prize pool, teams, remaining voting coupons, Esports Points and rewards.
- The Team Faceoff will be available for votes from November 13, 2024, to December 9, 2024.
- The Pick the Winner votes will start on the same date (November 13, 2024) and conclude on December 21, 2024.
- The Esports tab will remain functional from November 13, 2024, till December 30, 2024.
UX/UI
- The expiry dates for items in your Inventory will be displayed in the lower-left corner of the item slots.
- A new notification message will be displayed when you receive temporary or permanent items as rewards.
- Minor tweaks have been made to how the death marker UI is displayed.
- Certain Radio Messages in the Korean language setting have been changed.
- Item tiers are now displayed in the background of icons in the Store purchase popup.
Bug Fixes
Gameplay
- Fixed an issue where the FAMAS spawns without a magazine in the Training Mode.
- Fixed an issue where, after changing perspectives while seated in the driver’s seat and then exiting the vehicle, the perspective reverts to the previous setting.
- Fixed an issue where attaching tires to the Pillar UAZ with the All-In-One Repair Kit results in reduced tire HP.
- Fixed an issue in Ranked where the marker floats in the air when placed at a location where the Blue Chip Tower normally spawns in Normal Match.
- (Console) Fixed an issue where the Radio Message Display Priority setting resets to Dialogue upon restarting the game after changing it to Emojis.

- (Console) Fixed an issue on the PlayStation® platform where the ping sound setting resets upon restarting the game.
- (Console) Fixed an issue where the R-stick dead zone setting does not function while the Radio Message Wheel is active.
- (Console) Fixed an issue where the R-stick dead zone value resets when switching between Dialogue and Emojis on the Radio Message Wheel.
- (Console) Fixed an issue on Xbox Series X where setting the language to Traditional Chinese causes temporary freezing when approaching a world-spawned Crossbow.
World
- Fixed an issue where the C4 attached to vehicles or buildings on destructible terrain in Rondo can be dropped by destroying the terrain.
UX/UI
- Fixed an issue in Team Deathmatch where, if the Spawn Kit presets include the DBS, it defaults to the Assault preset and cannot be changed.
- Fixed the display error for the [CHROMA] ZERO-G - MP5K (Lime Blue) skin’s name.
- Fixed the incorrect item tier information for the School Shoes with Leggings (Black).
Items and Skins
Clipping issue in PUBG: Graphics that are shown outside the visible part of an image/object.
- Fixed the Lv. 10 - Rare Skin Cosmetics preview of the [PROGRESSIVE] Midnight Menace - Kar98k skin on the Hideout - Weapons page.
- Fixed an issue where the legs turn transparent when wearing the Happy Hibernation Shoes and certain outfits together.
- Fixed the clipping issue that occurs when wearing certain outfits and masks together.
- Fixed an issue where the Ali the Fox Peach Backpack (Level 2) appears distorted when the male character equips it with the Tenebres Combat Vest.
