Now getting back to our topic as I mentioned earlier the new update will bring a new team deathmatch game mode. In today's article, I will talk about the TDM game mode and everything it has to offer.
Deathmatch For The First Time
PUBG Mobile team deathmatch was already introduced a while ago in the Chinese version of the game. The mode is similar to the classic TDM modes where two teams fight on a map to reach the desired kill count first to win the match or the team with highest overall kill count gets the win if the timer runs out.
General Rules and Goals
The rules and goals in the upcoming team deathmatch mode are similar to the other TDM's. It includes-
- Endless Respawns until the timer runs out.
- The first team to kill a certain number of enemies within the given time wins.
- Players choose weapons at the beginning of the match and can change them during the game.
Maps
The new update will include a single team deathmatch map while new maps will be added later on in the near future. The warehouse is the same map which you get in the Chinese version of the game and in PUBG mobile beta 0.13.0. It's a small map which demands fast-paced action and good reaction time.

PUBG Deathmatch Mode Features
The new deathmatch mode features a wide variety of changes and new gameplay elements which the PUBG mobile community might not be used to. These are:-
Health Regeneration Overtime
Players now regenerate health over time which is an essential feature in a TDM to maintain the kill death ratio. If your character is hurt then it's better to retreat for a while than pushing forward.
Endless Life Till The Counter Hits To 0
Players can respawn infinitely in the new team deathmatch mode until the timer runs out. However, doing this will impact the kill death ratio and other achievements in the game.
Loot and Inventory
Players select weapons at the start of every game meanwhile they can also pick up items and other arsenals from boxes and other pickup spots. Inventory can be managed during the game or before the game.
Achievements
In the upcoming team, deathmatch mode players can get different in-game achievements and medals for achieving or completing a particular task. Similar to other TDM's killstreak and other counters can be found in PUBG mobile's upcoming TDM game mode.

No More Chicken Dinners
In the new team deathmatch game mode, players will no longer fight to get a chicken dinner. The new win screen will showcase the MVP player, kill death ratio, player kills, in-game achievements and other stats. Meanwhile, you also get experience points to level up and if you are the top performer of your team then the game rewards you with an MVP tag.
There is no official news or update on when the update will roll out. However, we can see that the game has started getting changes related to the upcoming update. So, we can say that the new update 0.13.0 is going to release soon in the coming weeks.
