Yes, the Erangel map of PUBG Mobile is getting a massive change soon as confirmed by the PUBG Mobile Global General Manager Vincent Wang. He also mentioned the upcoming crossover with AMC's Walking Dead.
A few weeks ago, Erangel 2.0 has been released in PUBG PC. And since then the fans were very much hyped about this game-changing update.
Finally, in the PMCO finals day 2, Mr. Vincent Wang, the Global General Manager of PUBG Mobile unveiled about this upcoming change.

What is Erangel 2.0?
Erangel 2.0 will be mainly changing the popular locations of Erangel. Mylta Power, Prison, Yasnaya Polyana, Mansion, Military Base, Primorsk, etc will see the changes at its best. This new update to the map will also introduce high grasses on the map. And this is probably going to be a game-changing experience for the players.
According to the gameplay on Erangel 2.0 on PC, if the players hide inside the high grasses, then it is nearly possible to find out those players unless they go near and encounter.
So, if the Erangel 2.0 is going to be the same on PUBG Mobile then the whole experience is going to change. Campers will be getting a great boost!
Crossover with The Walking Dead
With the announcement of Erangel 2.0, Mr. Wang also talked about the upcoming crossover of PUBG Mobile and Walking Dead. Although he did not reveal any more info about it, it is expected that the crossover will arrive with the PUBG Mobile update v0.14.0.
