The latest PUBG Update 31.1 brings a lot of new Clan system features to the battle royale title and is currently available for all PC players. The console patch will be deployed next week on August 14, 2024. With the update, the game will gain new challenges, tokens, clan care packages, and exclusive items that can be purchased from the store.

The PUBG Update 31.1 is tailored to increase player retention by providing new incentives and missions. These challenges are meant to pave the path for claiming new rewards while putting in a bit of grind. What are the new Clan system changes in PUBG Update 31.1?

Here is a list of all the changes that will be available in PUBG after Update 31.1 goes live:

Weekly Mission System

• The game will feature a set of weekly missions for the whole clan alongside individual challenges and new rewards.
• With the completion of clan-specific challenges, the level of the Clan Supply Airplane increases, which in turn provides better loot.
• The loot caches will provide higher-tier rewards as members of the clan complete more missions.
• All clan challenges will be refreshed weekly and are co-op in nature. Completing them will increase Gauge Points that level up the Clan’s Supply Airplane. A total of 5 challenges will be available in a week.

• The challenges will have different goals depending on the size of the clan. Clans with 20 members or less receive the same goals.
• The Supply Airplane will have different classes - S, A, B, C, and D. This is based on Gauge Points. Some of these points are deducted weekly to push players to complete more challenges for high-tier loot.
• Mission completion before Gauge Points and Supply Airplane Class finalizing will not be counted in an event where a new member joins the clan.
• All clan member missions are individual and completion will reward exclusive clan loot cache. The tier of the loot directly depends on the class of the Clan Supply Airplane.
• Clan loot caches will contain either BP, Credits, Imprints, or Polymers. Players may also receive a higher-class clan loot cache. Bonus rewards for B and higher class clan loot caches will include Schematics and G-Coin. These can be opened through the Workshop.

Clan Token Exchange

• These tokens are obtained by completing challenges and weekly missions. However, only the Clan Master or Manager can utilize them in the exchange tab.
• Items and rewards in the exchange store will depend on the Clan level. These items can be used only through the clan inventory and by the clan master or the manager.

• A total of 21 new tag plates will be available for purchase in the exchange store tab.
• These items can be equipped via the clan inventory only after they have been purchased.
• Sandbox Mode Tickets will be available for purchase, allowing the Clan Master or Manager to set up custom lobbies for a limited duration. These can only be accessed by clans which are at least level 3. The countdown for the custom mode can be viewed on the Clan Management tab. A total of 3 sessions can be created at a time, but only if the previous sessions have moved past the lobby creation screen.

• Non-clan members are allowed to join a clan’s sandbox mode.
• Hunter’s Chest Tickets will provide 3 random members with Hunter’s Chests. The award will be adjusted accordingly if a clan has less than 3 members.
• Clan Name and Clan Tag changes will become accessible.
