Quantum Break to feature Dominic Monaghan from Lost and Shawn Ashmore from X-Men

The upcoming third-person action game for Xbox One titled ‘Quantum Break’ will now feature Lord of the Rings/Lost actor Dominic Monaghan and X-Men’s actor Shawn Ashmore. The game has already been in the spotlight recently for its stunning graphics and a much anticipated upcoming TV series. Given that this is a title from Remedy Entertainment, we can also expect an amazing plot to go with it.

Dominic Monaghan, (better known for playing Meriadoc Brandybuck in Lord of the Rings trilogy) and Shawn Ashmore (Ice Man from the recent X-Men Days of Future Past) have been cast in two major roles for the game. Remedy recently tweeted a picture of the pair in full mo-cap gear.

Remedy Entertainment has not revealed the exact roles that these two actors will be playing, but it definitely isn’t going to be a menial one. Also considering that the games levels will impact the live-action episodes, it could be presumed that Monaghan and Ashmore will reprise their roles in the television series as well. Of course all of this is just speculation for now and we will just have to wait and watch.

This is however not the first time that Monaghan has worked in the video game industry. He has appeared in a series of live action trailers promoting The Bureau: XCOM Declassified as agent Ennis Cole.

Quantum Break is set to release next year exclusively for the Xbox One, and it has already created quite a stir.
