Rainbow Six Siege Operation Twin Shells will officially be released on all platforms on September 10, 2024. The official announcement was recently made by the R6 Siege X account. It also announced that the servers will go down for maintenance in all regions at the same time.
Here’s the exact time for all servers to go offline:
- U.S.: 6 am PT/ 9:00 am ET
- EU: 2 pm GMT/13:00 UTC
- Asia Pacific: 6:30 pm IST, 10 pm JST
- Australia: 10:30 pm ACST
The servers are set to go offline for 60 minutes before coming back online with the final update live. The upcoming changes include better encryption for a more secure player experience. The comfort while playing is also being prioritized with the redesign of the After Action Report and a new Drone Boost mechanic.
Furthermore, players can now polish their skills against AI in the new and improved Versus AI 2.0 update. To add to the fun of it all, new items are also set to be released in the Marketplace. Even though these changes are interesting, perhaps players may be the most interested in knowing about their Operators.
For fan favorite Dokkaebi, the update is not looking great as the Operator will be nerfed with her Logic Bomb not having an initial charge at the start of the round. Moreover, her refill time will be 45 seconds, and she will have two max resources. These changes will all go live with Operation Twin Shells.
