The latest adaptation of one of the most celebrated sports in India – Real Cricket 14, which is created by Nautilus, is set to be released on the Android playstore on 31st March, followed by an iOS release on 20th April.
This comes shortly after the massive success of the company’s first award winning release, mobile RPG – Song of Swords. Nicolas Beuvin, managing director of Nautilus, is confident that their latest creation will be a major hit.
“I am convinced we are the first to capture the essence of cricket. The real cricket fans will be crazy about our game, I can bet my life on that,” he said.

The game will feature various formats of cricket, including 20-20, World Cup, and an exciting Premier League tournament which includes a never-seen-before player transfer and in-game auction system.
It will provide a wide array of gameplay mechanics with over 25 batting strokes, and realistic ball physics. Complete control over bowling and fielding, is also a part of the path breaking cricket video game.
However, the game’s distinctive 2D hand-drawn art style, could be the master stroke that Real Cricket apart from it’s competitors.
A demo of game, featuring batting practice, is currently available for download on Android.
Although the game is also scheduled to release on the BlackBerry platform, release dates are yet to be announced.
