The makers of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 have decided to launch the game in an unique manner. The game has four chapers in it overall, but it will not be released at the same time. It will rather be released episodically, that is the game’s four chapters will be released one by one every week. Once it’s done, it will be released in a physical disc version.
Last month it was revealed that Resident Evil will be released for Xbox One and also for Xbox 360 in early 2015 with some enhancements made in it’s visuals. And now this news alongside that one is sure to please the fans of this franchise. Capcom is offering the gamers a chance to download the episodes individually for $5.99 or the complete season for $24.99. Also the full retail disc version of the game will be available for $39.99.The franchise has promised the gamers that each week will end with ‘some kind of a cliffhanger’ which will keep the fans guessing. If you feel that you won’t be able to handle that kind of an excitement, then you are better advised to purchase the complete season at a stretch.
The game will be set on the sidelines of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 and will be made available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC next year. Capcom has also released the first trailer for the game and you can view it by clicking here.
