Japanese developer Capcom is set to introduce Resident Evil for Xbox One and also Xbox 360 in early 2015, and the game is set to feature enhanced 1080p visuals for the consoles.
The new version of the game is also set to feature more detailed characters and backgrounds along with remastered 5.1 surround sound effects which can be played using the original screen display ratio of 4:3 or the 16:9 widescreen. Resident Evil is also set to feature the classic control scheme along with the newly introduced modern scheme which allows the character to follow the direction of the analogue stick. The control method can be changed at any point during play.
The original version of Resident Evil was first released in 1996 and then re-created in 2002 with enhanced visuals, gameplay elements, environments and story details, retaining the survival horror scenario from the original game.
Resident Evil is set to release first for the previous-gen consoles in Japan. It will be later released for the Xbox 360 on 27th November.
