Marcus is the latest 6-star rarity Arcanist, who debuted in the Reverse 1999 version 1.7 update. She belongs to the Plant Afflatus and inflicts mental damage upon enemies with her skill. The Arcanist has Burst Damage and DPS tags and can debuff enemies using his skill, From the Lantern. Her kit makes her one of the best DPS characters for Plant-type teams and against Raid bosses in Mane’s Bulletin.

  • Reading Class (Basic Skills 1): It deals 200%/330%/450% damage to a single enemy with one/two/three-star cards. She also gains a 30% Penetration Rate while using a three-star card.
  • From The Lantern (Basic Skills 2): It inflicts 130%/200%/300% damage to two enemies. She deals 30%/40%/75% additional damage to enemies under the Annotate status with one/two/three-star rank cards. Additionally, she can inflict one stack of Weakness effects with two and three-star rank cards.
  • Next Chapter (Ultimate Skill): Her Ultimate Skill, Next Chapter, deals 250% damage to all enemies on the battlefield. She deals 200% extra damage to enemies under the Annotate status. Additionally, she gains 1 stack of Preparation status and 2 Eureka.

  • Another Story: She deals 1%/2% additional damage (can stack up to 8%) while casting two/three-star rank cards. If she consumes two or more Eureka in a round, her Incantation Might buffs by 10% till the round ends (At Level 1 Amplification).
  • Blasphemer of Night: If the enemy she attacks has two or more negative statuses, she deals 12% additional damage (At Level 1 Amplification).
  • His Bounden Duty: It adds HP equal to 60% of her attack to Max HP every time she defeats an enemy (At Level 1 Amplification).

The best Psychube for this 6-star is Another Story. It allows her to deal massive damage with her Basic Skills. Timekeepers can also use Blasphemer of Night if they don’t have Another Story; it also boosts her DPS capability. Players who want survivability can use His Bounden Duty.

Insight I: Her Max Eureka count increases by one. If there are no enemies under the Annotate effect, she applies the effect, prioritizing bosses. If she has two or more Eureka, he uses two to upgrade one-star rank cards to two-star rank and three to upgrade two-star rank to three-star rank cards (she prioritizes lower ranked cards).
