Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update: New banners

Three new banners will debut in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update. Two will offer new Arcanists, whereas one features existing characters at a boosted drop rate. Here are the details:

Ode to the Utopia is the first banner and will be live from August 15, 2024, to August 29, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. It features two new Reverse 1999 Arcanists of Plant Afflatus: 6-star Vila and 5-star Avgust. Both characters will have a boosted drop rate.

The Intersecting Lines (Event-themed banner)

The Intersecting Lines will be available in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update from August 29, 2024, to September 19, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. It features a new Aracnist of Star Afflatus, 6-star Windsong, at a boosted drop rate. Additionally, players can summon two 5-star Arcanists, Sweetheart of Beast Afflatus and Blonney of Star Afflatus, at an increased drop rate.

Yearning of the Water

Yearning of the Water is a time-limited banner that will go live from September 1, 2024, to September 14, 2024, at 23:59 UTC-5. It features two 6-star Arcanists at a boosted drop rate: Shamane and Spathodea of Beast Afflatus. Timekeepers can perform the first three 10 ✕ summons with eight unilogs at a 20% discount.

New events in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update

The Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update will feature various events along with the main story event, Farewell, Rayashki. Here are the details:

Main story event: Farewell, Rayashki

The main event, Farewell, Rayashki, will be available from August 15, 2024, to September 16, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. Timekeepers can play the event story’s Hard mode from August 22, 2024, to September 16, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. They can obtain Clear Drops, Cornerstone, and more as rewards for completing the event stages and challenges.

Timekeepers can also participate in the sub-event, Song of Praise, during this period. However, to do so, you must complete Trail of FR. 16, Marching March, in the Farewell, Rayashki main event story.

In Song of Praise, players must complete the Trails on the map to collect Raw Components. These components will help restore facilities in a factory. After restoring the facilities, players can get Cornerstone, Wilderness building, Revival Factory, and Collectible “Here We Stand.”

Timekeepers can also complete tasks in The Way to Progress, which will be available during the main event period. The tasks reward various in-game items, including Cornerstone.

The event shop, In the Permafrost, will also be available from August 15, 2024, to September 19, 2024, at 04:59 UTC-5. Timekeepers can exchange Cornerstone for various rewards in the event shop. The main rewards include a new 6-star Reverse 1999 Psychube: Dawn is Coming, Gluttony, Unilog, Delicate Insight Materials, Sharpodonty, and more.

Other events in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update

Here is a list of other events that will be available in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update:

• Dawn Arrives as Usual: This is the character story of Vila, which will be available in the version 1.8 update till August 29, 2024.
• Silver Knot: This is the character story of Windsong, which will be available from August 29, 2024, to September 19, 2024.
• Boons of the Full Moon: This is a sign-in event that will be available from September 13, 2024, to September 20, 2024. Timekeepers can get Clear Drops, Collectible, and limited Building, White Jade Mortar, by signing in to the app for five days.
• Mane’s Bulletin: The Mane’s Bulletin in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 will feature a new raid boss, Echoes of Opera, with Isle Cryptid and Gold in the Cave.
• Journey to North: Journey to North is a sign-in event that will be conducted in two parts, I and II. Players can get seven Unilogs for free by signing in to the app when the event goes live. The first part will run from August 15, 2024, to August 29, 2024, and the second from August 29, 2024, to September 19, 2024.
• New Anecdotes: The Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update will introduce new Anecdotes for Eternity and Zeno. Timekeepers can play Eternity’s Anecdote, To Winnifred, from August 22, 2024, to September 5, 2024. On the other hand, Zeno’s Anecdote, The Winds of Juhalerat, will be available from September 5, 2024, to September 19, 2024.
• Gift of the Stars: Bluepoch will distribute 600 ✕ Clear Drops and 5 ✕ Picrasma Candy (time-limited) to all players in-game mailboxes. However, Timekeepers must clear the first chapter of the main story before August 15, 2024, to receive the rewards. The developers have prepared this gift due to the adjustment of the event duration.
• Double Analysis: This will be available from August 27, 2024, to September 6, 2024. Timekeepers can get double rewards by completing the Pneuma Analysis stages (four times per day; 20 times in total) during the event. The two daily In-Depth Analysis wins will not be included in the event.
• Just Reports: Just Reports is a time-limited event that will be available from September 14, 2024, to September 19, 2024. Timekeepers can get Clear Drops, Picrasma Candy, and Growth Materials from the event.

The Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update will introduce four new garments for various Arcanists:

• Baby Blue: On the Sparrow Hills
• (Constructivism in Concept Series) Eternity: A Visit to the Arctic
• (Constructivism in Concept Series) Medicine Pocket: The Cosmos Photographer
• Oliver Fog: See You at the Worker’s Club

Timekeepers can obtain Baby Blue’s garment by unlocking the Collector’s Edition of the new Roar Jukebox, The Bright Path. The Constructivism in Concept Series garments for Eternity and Medicine Pocket will be available to purchase from the garment shop for a limited time.

Players can get Oliver Fog’s garment in UTTU Spotlight Edition for free.

More new content in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update

In addition to the above content, Bluepoch will introduce a new iteration of Roar Jukebox and Wilderness Packs in the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update. Here are the details:

1) Roar Jukebox: The Bright Path

The Bright Path is the new Roar Jukebox that goes live from August 15, 2024, to September 16, 2024. Since the Reverse 1999 version 1.8 update will be shorter than other versions, all Timekeepers will receive 10,000 ✕ Decibel after the Roar Jukebox goes live.

2) New Wilderness Pack

The new Wilderness Pack (partial), Greetings From the Snow, will be available to purchase from the Wilderness Shop. Timekeepers can buy it from August 15, 2024, to September 19, 2024.

Additionally, Dipa Festival Wilderness Pack (partial) will be available to purchase from September 6, 2024, to September 15, 2024.
