Strawberry Crepe and Hollyberry Cookie were once the most popular Defense and Front Cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom. While both declined over the past year, Hollyberry has successfully climbed back up to the high tiers of the game's meta, since she received a significant buff in January. With rumors swirling in the Cookie Run: Kingdom community about a possible Magic Candy for Strawberry Crepe in the next update, this article explores how well they hold up without it compared to newer Cookies.

First, let's see what a maxed-out Crepe's substats look like: (Lv. 75 Cookie and Skill Lvl., Full Swift Chocolate Topping, and 4 Star Ascension)

  • HP: 349,024
  • ATK: 39,647
  • DEF: 132,765
  • CRIT: 17.3%

The numbers for their "Crepe Thrust" skill are also attached below:

  • Single hit DMG: 622.3℅
  • DMG Resist: +50.0% for 8.0 sec

Right off the bat, newer players unfamiliar with Strawberry Crepe will notice that her skill is much simpler than what they would expect from an Epic Cookie, much less one that can lead the meta. This is also why Cookies like Wildberry and Financier quickly ran Strawberry Crepe out of the meta, despite most players being heavily invested in the latter.

Wildberry, in particular, is a better alternative to teams that would otherwise have used Strawberry Crepe, given that he can provide a 15% DMG Resist boost to the entire team, in comparison to a 50% DMG Resist boost to the two Cookies with lowest Max HP that Strawberry does. In addition to this buff, Wildberry provides a Stun ability, better DMG numbers, and the unique "Wild" buff.

The rumored Magic Candy, would have to significantly expand their skill to make them viable in Cookie Run: Kingdom again. Due to the current numbers and skill, Strawberry Crepe struggles to make any mark on the enemy when facing any meta teams at high ranks.

A combination of boosting her DMG numbers, adding new buffs, making her resistant to interrupting effects when casting her skill, a stun ability, or self/ally healing abilities will be the basic requirements for a Magic Candy or buff to bring her back into the Cookie Run: Kingdom mainstream.

Minimal investment in Strawberry Crepe Cookie by beginners can help their efforts in the early stages of World Exploration and the Arena. But beyond that, the "Castle in the Sky" antagonist should be avoided until the rumored buff materializes.
