Roald has a Jock behavior type, meaning that that he has a big interest in all things athletic, This means from sports to bodybuilding Roald is keenly invested. He’ll want to talk about all sports all the time, and may come across as hyperactive, wanting to compete with the player as to how many fish or bugs can they catch. Though despite all this they mean well. As a jock type, Roald will get along well with Peppy, Cranky, and Sisterly villagers, but may come into conflict with Snooty villagers.

Roald is a penguin villager, and very much looks like how a normal penguin would look like in real life. Having a dark blue fur color with a white belly, Roald is traditional in terms of looks. His clothing does change slightly from game to game.
How to get Roald in New Horizons
Getting a villager you want in New Horizons is particularly tricky, as there is only one surefire way to do so, the rest is up to luck. There are two primary methods of getting Roald in your village, the first is using Nook Miles to fly to an island and see if he is there. Keep in mind if you do this you’ll have to have an open plot available. The next is to wait and see if he’ll appear on your campsite. Either way both methods are luck based, so it’s completely up to chance.
Role of Roald in New Leaf
Roald is a villager again in New Leaf, appearing randomly by chance with the opportunity to invite him to stay in your town. New Leaf was his first appearance in the Animal Crossing games.
Role of Roald in Wild World
Much like in previous entries, Roald is a villager you can encounter, through time you can convince him to permanently settle into your village, talking and building up your friendship with the cat.
Amiibo Cards
A guaranteed way to get Roald on your island is to use his Amiibo card. Simply scan it with your Switch on the Town Hall. Keep in mind in order to do this you need to have both the Town Hall and Campsite constructed. Once you’ve invited him to your campsite, you simply need to do this three times and he’ll be part of your island!
