Quads game mode to arrive in Apex Legends in mid-season patch
The most recent information that surfaced about the upcoming content for Apex Legends suggests that Quads game mode is being added on June 25, 2024. The mode will only be available for casual lobbies alongside Trios, meaning Quads will replace Solos in the playlist.

Apart from the release date, fans and gamers can expect the new four-man squad mode to feature a total of 15 teams to accommodate the same number of players. These changes should not affect the routine of ranked mode and will likely be a testing phase for future Limited Time Modes (LTMs) and mode rotations.
Considering the amount of time the community had to play the Solo mode, Quads may be removed from the playlist at the end of Season 21.
The arrival of Quads could also mean that we might see the new Trident design featuring four seats, including the driver. The loot distribution might not need any major changes, as a lobby is likely to feature 60 players, similar to Trios lobbies.

However, the Points of Interest (POIs) on the existing maps might prove to be suffocating with four players in a single team, especially when looting. The devs could choose to ingrain the same kitted-weapon system from Solos in Quads game mode minus the respawn tokens. It will be an interesting new experience, as the team composition meta will go through various changes.
That said, the mid-season update might introduce a new collection event for the entire playerbase. Not much is known about the event, but considering past trends, fans can rest assured that a new Heirloom-grade item will be included. It will contain a themed set of cosmetics for select legends and a few legendary weapon skins as well.
That is everything we know so far about the possible arrival of the Quads game mode in Apex Legends. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for more updates, news, and guides.
