Apex Legends will reportedly introduce a Quads game mode to all players

According to the rumor on X, the Apex Legends Quads game mode will be introduced to players on June 25. The aforementioned game mode will replace the Solo mode, which was reintroduced to players with the launch of Season 21, Upheaval.

Most battle royale games allow players to form a party of four individuals. However, Apex Legends allows only three, which for some, is a little restrictive since they want to enjoy the game with their friends. If this rumor becomes reality, players will be fighting against teams of four, which should make it interesting.

The Solos mode was first introduced during Season 2 in July 2019. Since it was a limited-time event-exclusive game mode, it was removed by the developers. Thereafter, players began asking the devs to add it back to the game.

Initially, the game mode garnered popularity because players would get frustrated with their teammates in the regular Trios mode. After three years, it appears that the developers might be listening to the playerbase and reintroducing the Solos mode, if the rumors turn true.
