Respawn Entertainment may not implement the new Battle Pass in Apex Legends Season 22

A recent rumor from one of the credible Apex Legends leakers, @HYPERMYSTx discloses that the upcoming Season 22 Battle Pass might get reverted to the current/old version. If this rumor is true, then Respawn will not be implementing the new Battle Pass changes that faced a lot of backlash, with the commencement of Season 22.

This means players will likely be able to purchase the Season 22 Battle Pass with their saved-up Apex Coins. Additionally, they will acquire 1300 Apex Coins from the Battle Pass which is more than enough to purchase the next one.

Since the Battle Pass changes made the whole Apex community quite deranged, if the developers decide on this change, it is justified. Moreover, the players also left bad reviews on Steam, making the recent reviews section turn to 'Overwhelmingly Negative' in just a couple of days.

If the developers revert to the old BP system, it also means that the Battle Pass will be available for the entire season instead of just a Split. This implies players will not be able to acquire additional rewards the new BP system offers.
