A recent Genshin Impact 5.0 leak from a notable leaker, FouL, who previously leaked Clorinde and Sigewinne's kits accurately, suggests the possibility of players obtaining a gadget that might allow them to select the main stat and sub-stats of an artifact piece.

According to the leak, players will receive two of these gadgets every patch. There is currently no information on how to obtain this gadget other than HoYoverse possibly giving two of them in each 5.X patch. Players can select up to two substats for an artifact with this gadget.

If these leaks end up being true, this is a monumental change that can significantly improve artifact farming, which is currently one of the most tedious activities in the game. The potential introduction of this gadget could circumvent this issue and make artifact farming much more enjoyable. Version 5.0 is potentially set to introduce Artifact Strongboxes featuring all the artifacts from Sumeru, Marechaussee Hunter, and Golden Troupe.

Additionally, according to leaks, two new Natlan artifact sets revolving around the rumored Night Soul mechanic might be introduced in the game.
