The highly anticipated Marvel Rivals Season 1 trailer has been officially released, and the community is beyond excited. While the trailer mostly revolves around the introduction of the Fantastic Four heroes, it also features the new villain, Dracula. Interestingly, this aligns perfectly with the recent leaks that hinted towards the addition of Blade in the game.
These leaks were first reported by @X0X_LEAK on X, a team of game data miners. Their posts gained thousands of likes and spawned a lot of speculation from the MR community.
Here's everything we know (so far) about the Marvel Rivals Season 1 villain and Blade's possible debut.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 trailer could be a teaser for Blade
As the abovementioned post by @Rivals_Leaks suggests, Blade has a Vampire form that would change his Slash Attack. Moreover, the leak suggested that Blade would be able to see through walls, just like The Punisher.
Another post that also credited @X0X_LEAK but was reposted by @MRivalsUpdates, one of the fastest-growing Marvel Rivals fan pages, gave us the in-game description of Blade:
"Half-human and half-vampire, Eric Brooks walks between worlds, craving the very life force of his enemies. As night falls, Blade's hunt begins as he wields the Swords of Dracula to become the nightmare of any foe who dares to bare their fangs."
As the description of Blade suggests, he has the swords of Dracula, the main villain of Marvel Rivals Season 1 Eternal Night. If you are unaware of the lore, Blade and Dracula share a complex and adversarial relationship. Blade inherited vampiric traits, while Dracula is the Lord of Vampires.
Dracula's role as the main antagonist of Marvel Rivals Season 1 strongly hints at the potential debut of Blade, as the latter has been a renowned adversary of Dracula for a long time. Considering this, the leaks about his addition to the game soon seem very plausible.
Even if he arrives in the game, we do not have enough information regarding his possible release date; however, we speculate it should most likely be during the mid-season, meaning the 2nd week of February 2025. Those interested can watch the Marvel Rivals Season 1 official trailer here.
