New XDefiant map 'Signal' leaked: What we know so far

A new XDefiant map was recently leaked and is said to be based on the popular Far Cry games offered by Ubisoft. The developer recently released XDefiant with multiple factions, including Libertad, leaners, Phantoms, DedSec, and Echelon. This has inspired over 8 million XDefiant players to play the game. The Libertad faction still consists of characters from the Far Cry 6 game.

This makes this crossover even more entertaining. Now a new XDefiant map is on the way. Here are some details.

New XDefiant map 'Signal': Far Cry-inspired map gets leaked

The new XDefiant map was leaked on X. It is reportedly being called 'Signal' and visuals were leaked in the same post. In the video, fans can see vibrant hues of blue, pink, and green all over the map.

The colors give the map a vintage sort of Far Cry look with smoke rising from various sections of the map. A massive dome-like structure is also spotted on the map.

Apart from that, destroyed huts, a mine, and what seems to be a small Church can be seen in the short video released by @XDefiantAlerts. So far, there are already about 14 XDefiant maps in the game.

Some of these maps act as the background for certain factions in the game, such as the Echelon HQ, which may be related to the background plot of the Echelon faction.

This could also mean that this Far Cry-related new XDefiant map called Signal may provide some lore or background for the already existing Libertad faction. Interestingly, the map also features some beautiful natural aspects.

Some of these features include colorful trees, antique cards, caves, as well as waterfalls. All of these blend perfectly with the Far Cry theme, where the Libertad faction is actively trying to oppose the Castillo regime.

Based in Yara, the faction has strong roots in the game and is primarily filled with healers. The massive dome shown multiple times throughout the 30-second clip could potentially act as a spawning location.

More details are currently awaited on the new XDefiant map. It is believed that it will be called 'Signal' and that it will take some time to be finished before it is launched.
