The crash could be a result of your GPU attempting to run the game on DirectX 12 instead of the supported DirectX 11. If not, it could be due to faulty/corrupted files.
To fix the DirectX11 issue, open the Steam library and click on properties. Click on General and type "-dx11" under the launch options.
If you are playing the game via the Epic Games Store, click on the three dots and select Manage. Type "-dx11" under the launch options to fix the issue.
Update drivers
If the previous method didn't fix the crashing issues with Satisfactory 1.0, try updating your graphic drivers. If you own a Nvidia GPU, you can do so by opening Geforce Experience. For an AMD graphic card, check your AMD Adrenalin Edition drivers. If you are an Intel user, you can find your gfx drivers through Google search.
Verify your game files
If Satisfactory 1.0 continues to crash, try verifying your game files. To do so, open Steam and right click on the game in the library, then select Properties. Look for "verify integrity of game files" under "Installed files."
If you are playing the game via the Epic Games Store, select the three dots besides Satisfactory 1.0 and click on "Manage." Then, select "Verify."
If none of the above-mentioned steps work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
