Scrap Metal in Escape from Tarkov: How to complete and rewards

As soon as you finish Peacekeeper's quest, Tigr Safari, you will obtain Scrap Metal in Escape from Tarkov. For the mission, you have to go to Shoreline and mark three T-90 tanks located on the three corners of the map. You have to purchase and bring three markers or you won’t be able to complete the mission. However, what makes this quest easier is that players don’t have to mark all the tanks in the same raid.

The three objectives you must complete for Scrap Metal in Escape from Tarkov are:

• Locate and mark the first T-90 tank on Shoreline with an MS2000 Marker.
• Locate and mark the second T-90 tank on Shoreline with an MS2000 Marker.
• Locate and mark the third T-90 tank on Shoreline with an MS2000 Marker.

First T-90 tank location

The first T-90 tank can be found in the middle of the Weather Station and Power Station on Shoreline. If you take the gravel road from the Weather Station going towards the Power Station, you will see the tank on a small bridge right after a truck.

Make sure to bring three markers and use one to mark the tank by moving close to it.

When you are done marking the first T-90 tank, head towards the second one which is located in the Northern Bunker near the Climber’s Trail extract. The tank is surrounded by sandbags and green weapon boxes.

Similar to the previous one, you have to use an MS2000 Marker to mark it. However, after you place the marker, it will take around 30 seconds for the marking process to complete. During that time, if the marker gets shot, it will be destroyed and you have to redo it.

Lastly, the third T-90 tank is in the village area. From the northern bunker, go southwest where you will see the village area after crossing Cottages where Sanitar can spawn. After reaching the village, go to the main road that leads to the Tunnels extract point. There you will see the last tank right before a bus stop.

Use the third and last market to mark it and extract through Tunnels. Additionally, if you spawn on the village side, you should start the quest with this tank.

• Dollars: 900 (945 and 1,035 Roubles with Intelligence Center 2 and 3, respectively)

• 9x19mm Pst gzh 50-round ammo pack: 3x
• Unlocks the HK MP5 submachine gun on Peacekeeper Loyalty Level 2
• Unlocks 5.7x28mm SS197SR on Peacekeeper Loyalty Level 2
