Search Mission in Escape from Tarkov: How to complete, and rewards

Search Mission is one of the early wipe quests in Escape from Tarkov that you can acquire from Prapor. After obtaining this quest, try to complete it as soon as possible, as your progression of that wipe depends on it. You get a decent bit of EXP for finishing it, which you can use to level up and unlock more quests. When done with this mission, you can move to other maps such as Customs, and start doing their quests.

Search Mission features three objectives in Escape from Tarkov:

• Find the temporary USEC camp on Woods.
• Find Prapor’s missing convoy on Woods.
• Survive and extract from the Woods raid.

Since you don’t need any keys or items for this particular quest, simply queue for a Woods raid from the main menu. Regardless of where you spawned on the map, start walking to Sniper Mountain. Since Woods can be a little confusing, it's best to have a map opened on another monitor or device. We recommend using another device such as a phone if you don't have a second monitor, so you won’t have to tab out of the game to look at the map.

From the Sniper Mountain, go west until you reach the main road with a giant transmission tower. From there, take a right turn to cross the road, and climb the small hill until you can see the USEC camp. Run around the camp to get the first objective, then prepare to head to the missing convoy.

From the USEC camp, go east and cross the lake area; for this, use the small path in between the two lakes. Immediately after, you will be able to see a road and the missing convoy (which is now destroyed). Similar to what you did in the USEC camp, walk around the convoy to complete the second objective.

When you are done with the two objectives, head towards any of the available extract points to finish the third objective, and as a result, the Search Mission quest. Note that you don't have to follow the order of these objectives; if you wish, you can go to the missing convoy first, and then head towards the USEC camp.

Rewards

Completing the Search Mission quest in Escape from Tarkov will reward you with the following:

• Experience: 2,800
• Prapor Reputation: +0.02
• Roubles: 22,000 (23,100 and 25,300 Roubles with Intel Center Levels Two and Three, respectively)
• Unlocks the KIASS body armor on Prapor at Loyalty Level 1.
