One of the earliest branching decisions players will encounter in Star Wars Outlaws is the VIP Invite. When protagonist Kay Vess first arrives on the planet of Toshara, she will make her way to Makal's Cantina and Gambling Parlor in the planet's capital city of Mirogana. Here, in a bid to meet the Pyke faction underboss Gorak in his private suite, she will be able to pick between a couple of options to get to him.
This includes buying a VIP Invite from a shady fellow near the Cantina's entrance, but is it worth spending the credits? No. More on that later.

Is it worth buying the VIP Invite to enter Gorak's suite in Star Wars Outlaws?
The Broker will try to convince Kay to hand over 50 Credits - the key currency of Star Wars Outlaws - in exchange for the supposedly rare VIP Ticket. Given how early this incident is into the game, that amount can be a big hit to Kay's wallet. As such, we do not recommend buying the VIP Invite as there is an alternate free way to make it into the suite.

To the left of the central parlor, there will be a yellow door. Enter through another yellow door to reach the outdoor balcony. Go to the other end and enter the Cantina again to be greeted by a storage room. Here, there is a vent that will lead Kay to Gorak's suite in Star Wars Outlaws but it is locked so use the Data Spike tool to unlock it.

This guides her to the elevator which will lead directly to Gorak's suite. Here, she will learn more about the Pyke leader's plans as well as progress the story naturally. That said, those tempted to buy the VIP Invite to skip this process should be warned that it will not work; the bartender will still deny Kay entry to the elevator so the Broker essentially will have scammed Kay with no way of getting those 50 Credits back.
