Jade is one of the brand-new 5-star characters scheduled to be released during Honkai Star Rail 2.3 phase two. During version 2.1’s Trailblaze Mission, players noticed her pulling the strings behind the scenes. Moreover, Jade is also the employer/mentor of Avneturine, the senior manager of the IPC Strategic Investment Department.

As Jade follows the Path of Erudition, her team role is rather straightforward. She mainly fills the primary DPS role in most team compositions. Apart from that, since she can also launch follow-up attacks, Jade harmonizes well with the other FUA (Follow-Up Attack) units such as Himeko, Topaz & Numby, Dr. Ratio, and more.

As the FUA teams are in meta to clear various activities in Honkai Star Rail, Jade can also fill the sub-DPS role in various team compositions. This means she can be quite versatile.

Is Jade worth pulling for in Honkai Star Rail 2.3?

Since the decision to pull for different characters depends on the players and their accounts, it is hard to speculate what character they might need. That said, if you already have multiple FUA units in your collection, you should definitely consider pulling Jade during the second phase of Honkai Star Rail 2.3.

Jade’s kit is straightforward, and building her is also quite easy. As most of her abilities scale with CRIT stats, you must equip her with Relic pieces that have good stats. Follow-up attack teams are quite beneficial for Jade, as are hypercarry teams. If you do not have any good Quantum DPS character yet, you should definitely add Jade to your collection.
