Should you pull Xilonen in Genshin Impact: Pull value analysis

Xilonen is the newest 5-star character to be featured in the upcoming Genshin Impact 5.1 update. Xilonen is a Geo sword-using character. Her kit revolves around Xilonen utilizing her Source Samplers, which she gets when she uses her Elemental Skill and enters her Nightsoul State. By default, Xilonen will have three Geo Samplers. For each party member who belongs to one of the four elements (Pyro, Cryo, Hydro, and Electro), one Geo Sampler will change corresponding to that particular element. Based on how many Samplers you have active can have varying effects on her playstyle, which means that she can either fulfill the role of a support, or she can be an on-field DPS.

If you have two or more different elemental types in your party, Xilonen will have different elements of Source Samplers based on the party's corresponding elements. When her Nightsoul Points are full, she will reduce the Elemental Resistance of all nearby enemies corresponding to the elements aligned her Samplers. This utilizes the support capabilities of her kit.

The Elemental Burst in her support state heals the active character by a decent amount based on her DEF.

Alternatively, her DPS capabilities will take effect if there are one or fewer elemental types in your party. When this requirement is met, all of Xilonen's attacks will scale off of her DEF when she is in the Nightsoul State. And since she always has a default Geo Source Sampler active, she will also reduce the enemy's Geo resistance.

Xilonen's Elemental Burst in this state deals more instances of damage instead of healing your characters.

Based on her abilities, Xilonen is a great support character who can reduce the enemy's Elemental Resistances by just having your main DPS unit's elemental type in your party. Ever since her kit was announced, fans have been comparing her support capabilities with that of Kazuha's. The latter has been one of the best Anemo support units in the game so far. He can buff your character's elemental damage and utilize the Viridescent Venerer artifact set to reduce the enemy's Elemental Resistance to a particular element by swirling it.

Xilonen is an exceptional support unit and her damage buff and resistance shred capabilities are nearly comparable to Kazuha's. Her Elemental RES reduction buff lasts for an entire 15 seconds, which gives a lot of flexibility in team compositions and her rotations. Additionally, once it has been activated, her Elemental RES shred buff follows your characters, so you do not need to reapply it over and over.

Moreover, she also has great free-to-play weapon options, with the 4-star craftable sword, Flute of Ezpitzal, being a great weapon choice for her as it gives a massive boost to her DEF through its substat and passives. This makes building her much easier and valuable.
